Wales has its own healthcare regulator (Healthcare Inspectorate Wales), its own statutory language framework (the Welsh Language Standards), and its own primary-care benchmarking expectations. Patients land in Welsh or English based on their browser preference and the toggle is one click on every page.
Our default content is reviewed by a Welsh-speaking GP. Statutory language (privacy notices, accessibility statements, complaints process) is translated to professional standard, not Google-Translated.
HIW awareness
Healthcare Inspectorate Wales has its own inspection framework and its own expectations of how a GP surgery presents itself online. We've read the framework. The practical things — your accountable GP, your complaints process, your duty-of-candour framing, your patient-participation-group page — are all included in our standard build, in Welsh and English.
