Where Silicon Practice fits
Big PCNs and federations that want a single supplier across many practices and value the framework-agreement procurement route. If your ICB or PCN procurement team has a strong preference for established suppliers and you're not the lone decision-maker, Silicon Practice is the default and a defensible choice.
Where it tends to grate is on flexibility — adding a new feature or changing a workflow becomes a ticket-and-wait process, and the bundled products (FootFall triage, Engage Consult) carry their own pricing layers.
Where Practice Digital is different
We're smaller. That's the trade. We're a small team of practising NHS doctors, nurses and practice managers, owned by clinicians, not VC-funded. Your account email goes to a clinician who can also tell you whether the change you're asking for makes clinical sense.
The pricing model is simpler: £399/year flat, locked for five years, no per-feature add-ons. Cymraeg, urgent publishing, the lot — all included.
Compatible NHS stack
Whatever you currently route through (eConsult, AccuRx, Patchs, Klinik, FootFall, SystmOnline, Patient Access, NHS App), we embed the existing redirect or widget into the new site. Switching the website provider doesn't touch your patient-facing supplier setup.

We offer 20% off for PCNs and federations of five or more practices. One contact (a GP who already knows your clinical directors), one invoice, one renewal date, staggered onboarding so no practice goes dark. Per-practice price drops from £399 to £319.20/year, locked for five years.
Frequently asked questions
We're tied into a long Silicon Practice contract. Can we still switch?
Yes. We parallel-run the new site under a temporary URL until your existing contract ends, then DNS swaps. We don't charge you for our site until cut-over day so there's no double-payment.
Will our PCN need to agree?
If only one practice is moving, no. If the whole PCN is interested, we'd love to talk to your clinical directors — one of our doctors will.
